Introduction to AutoFileSync

Coming on 21 October 2026

The first video walks through the program in a few minutes: a photo collection is backed up to a USB drive, and from then on AutoFileSync keeps it up to date without any further effort.

  • Setting up a new synchronisation: choose source and target, the preview shows what will happen, the first run copies all photos.
  • A new photo arrives in the source and is on the target shortly after.
  • The window is closed, the synchronisation keeps running. The drive is unplugged and comes back – no error, no clean-up.
  • A photo deleted in the source stays on the target: protection against data loss instead of blind mirroring. The background service works without a logged-in user.
  • A look at the options, an SSH connection to a server and the assistant that answers questions about the program.
